Businessman Herbert Shonga has denied ever being a music manager for struggling singer Sasha Brighton Kalungi. Sasha joined the music industry in 2018 and by the time people got to know about her, she was under Herbert Shonga.

However, their story wasn’t about music but a relationship that has left Shonga’s marriage in tears. At that time Sasha also released a song telling Shonga’s first wife that she is too sweet ‘Kawomela’ and that’s why she was prioritized.

Little did she know that the relationship was also at its ending stages. In late 2019, Sasha and Shonga separated leaving people wondering what could have happened.

According to her, Shonga wasn’t her man and the way she was treated made her leave him. She said her career was dying for the sake of a fake relationship and that’s why she decided to move on.

Recently, Shonga had an interview with a local television and he told them that he was never a manager.

Although Sasha left him for not helping her a lot in the music, they hadn’t agreed on that part. The little he did was out of good will and that ended.

“I don’t want people to quote me bad but I was never Sasha Brighton’s music manager. Whatever happened to her music career was about her. Me, I was just helping like any other lover. I was a boyfriend but not a manager,” he said

It should be noted that after leaving Herbert Shonga, Sasha Brighton immediately got pregnant for another man she hasn’t revealed to the public.
