If You Can’t Change it, Don’t Beat Yourself Over It

There are issues that happen in your life and you may not be able to change them. It is only wise for you not to beat yourself up for such issues. Even if you sit down and think, you may not be able to change a thing. It would be really unjust for you to even sit down and start blaming yourself for the irreversible.

Many people have fallen in the arms of depression because they have given heed to thoughts and voices they shouldn’t have.

Take an example of death, unless you murdered the person, why would you blame yourself for such a thing. Obviously, losing someone is painful, very painful. On top of that pain, adding blame to the condition would be suicide. Some people think they could have done something.

Feeling bad about certain events is allowed and very normal. However, even in that time, remember not to blame yourself. This is the first step to healing, to know it’s not your fault. There are some cases of course where truly, you’re to blame. For example, you had sex and got pregnant before you wanted. In this case, all you need to do is to forgive yourself and move on with life.

Time is precious you know and however mean this may sound, you may never change certain things. The earlier you free yourself from those thoughts the better. A lot of time is wasted on trying to correct what is already doomed. Pick yourself up, brush off the dust and start on your journey again. It will save you time, a lot of time.
