I’m Ready To Help The Club In The Best Way Possible – Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Manchester United’s interim manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy has revealed that he’s ready to help his former side in any way possible. The Dutchman won his first game as the in charge after a 5-2 win over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, a brace from either Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes was enough to push the Red Devils to the cup competition quarterfinals. This is where they will face Tottenham Hotspurs who beat Manchester City.

It should be noted that Ruud Van Nistelrooy ,a legendary striker for the club, was brought in at the start of this season to deputise Erik Ten Hag. And after Ten Hag’s sacking earlier this week, the former PSV Eindhoven manager was put in charge.

“I’m here to help Man United and give my everything for the club in any capacity. I’m helping as long as needed. In the future in any capacity, I’m here to help the club further to build towards the future. That will never change.”

Manchester United are set to appoint Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Almorim. Almorim has had his Portuguese side flying in the Portuguese league and the UEFA Champions League. They are also currently unbeaten and top of both divisions.

Meanwhile Liverpool will face Southampton in the EFL Carabao Cup quarters. Arsenal will play Crystal Palace, and Newcastle will play Brentford in the other clashes.
