I’m So Proud Of Vinka – Jackie Chandiru

Blu3 member and singer Jackie Chandiru has revealed that she’s so proud of fellow musician, Vinka. It should be noted that the Swangz Avenue singer graced the stage at the recently concluded Blu3 reunion concert at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Vinka then heaped praise on the Gold Digger singer. She revealed that Jackie helped her a lot in setting her up for the career she took later on in life. The Bailando singer revealed that she was Jackie’s backup singer way back even before Swangz Avenue discovered her.

Speaking about it, Jackie said that she’s proud of what her fellow singer has turned into and achieved. She likened it to giving birth to a child and watching them grow into someone successful.

According to the Agassi singer, Vinka was someone who was always eager to learn and very hardworking. This was partly the reason they lasted long together.

Additionally, Jackie said that she has been following Vinka’s career and was star-struck watching join her on stage.

“I wouldn’t want to call her my backup dancer but rather a colleague. We teamed up long ago and worked together. Vinka was someone eager to learn and very hardworking. That’s why we lasted longer together. I was star-struck seeing her joining me on stage although I had followed her for quite long. It’s like giving birth to a child and watching them grow into something beautiful,” she said.

Meanwhile, the singer also said that she has been doing several shows upcountry. Nonetheless, she was nervous to get back on such a big stage as the one they had at their reunion. Jackie also said that the Blu 3 concerts won’t happen every year but as long as there is money.
