Impala Hill FC Recover From Goal Down To Edge KJT In Mulago – Kampala Regional League 2021-2022

Impala Hill FC has continued with their unbeaten run after they recovered from a goal down to beat Kampala Junior Team (KJT) 2-1. The match went down at the Mulago playground on Sunday 16th January 2022.

Francis Jurassic struck KNT ahead with a beautifully struck free-kick inside the opening 24 minutes for a 1-0 lead by halftime.

An equalizer came in from Ach Pariyo in the 78th minute. Innocent Bichop scored the last minute gasp winner.

Impala Hill FC registered this as their fourth victory in Scorpion group from four matches played so far.

NEC also has the same record as Impala Hill and they also came from a goal down to defeat Star Masanafu 2-1 at the Bugolobi Coffee playground.

Meanwhile, In other news, Uganda Premier League’s entity, Mbarara City FC, had its entire coaching crew resign from their duties. Former Cranes international Hussein Mbalangu (head coach), Samuel Ssenyange “Kadidi” Nsanziiro (assistant coach) and Jamada Magasi (goalkeeping coach) have all stepped aside.

The coaches revealed their reasons in a letter to the club’s chairperson, Hon Mwine Mpaka as unpalatable working conditions. They said this forced their exit from the club christened as “The Ankole Lions”.
