Uganda’s legendary female songstress Irene Gladys Namubiru known by her stage names Iryn Namubiru yesterday furiously shared a brief statement on her social media commanding the Star Tv’s presenter Ibrah K Mukasa to make an apology live on National TV and clearly in front of the camera.
Cyber bullying or harassment has become a problem in the entertainment industry these days and if Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) doesn’t come out to intervene in the situation, musicians and other artistes may end up rioting to protect their brands in whatever case.
Sheilah Gashumba and God’s Plan are still handling the Scoop on Scoop presenter Tina Firce who even attracted Zari Hassan to intervene. Many people are now coming out to join hands in fight against cyber bullying.
While on social media, Iryn Namubiru in support of Lydia Jazmine commanded Ibrah to apologize verbally on TV not only writing on social media.
“You are right as he did in front of a camera to insult her let him do the same thing #Cyberbullying must stop I stand with u mulungi wange wama . The rate at which pple are being placed in their right places is alarming. Elections may even be postponed because list seems long.”
