Elon Musk might be the richest man on the planet but that doesn’t mean he’s not scared for his life or that his security can’t be threatened.
The Twitter CEO took to the platform to hint at his pending mysterious death. This comes after a Russian official threatened him over his support for Ukraine.
“If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” the South African-born billionaire tweeted.
It’s not clear what exactly he was referring to. Musk has however always used the social media platform to showcase his sense of humor. His message however drew mixed reactions from his followers. Some pointed out that it somehow looked like that of a fellow controversial billionaire John McAfee who posted about his own death before he passed away in 2021. Some told him to beef up his security while others took the tweet for jokes.
“The world needs Elon Musk,” one user said.
“Double up (or even 10x) on security. We need you around, Elon,” another said.
“This is too much. If you are going to lead…. lead. Stop with the drama. Now shift your focus back to how we can help the planet, the Ukrainians. And the vulnerable among us who weren’t born into wealth, health, and prosperity. Focus. Lead. Or just be quiet,” a displeased follower of the billionaire’s controversial tweets said.
“If that happens, can I have Twitter,” a user followed Musk’s usually joking trend on the platform.
Ever since the Tesla owner acquired Twitter, he’s faced a lot of criticism from the Liberals and democrats although the Republicans and conservatives have had him in their favor.
Musk’s Twitter activity however can’t be taken seriously because he usually jokes a lot. After becoming the majority shareholder last month, he revealed that he was going to make Twitter a fan platform.
