Jackson Magera Confirmed As New KCCA FC First Team Coach On Technical Staff

KCCA FC has appointed former SC Villa immediate head coach as their first team coach until 2024. Nearly two and a half seasons ago, Jackson Magera left the Lugogo-based side following the departure of his mentor Mike Mutebi.

SC Villa named him head coach after Petros Koukouras parted ways with the team. He even almost led the team to their first title since 2004, until the last day defeat to URA. However, though, he has finally made his comeback to the former club.

Head Coach/ Manager Sergio Traguil will be the head of the technical team. He will be assisted by Luis Manuel Correira.

The Club recently introduced a new role of Strength and Conditioning Coach. This new role will be overseen by Cuban, Eduardo Lazaro Roman Leiva.

The team further maintained Oloya Moses as the Goal Keepers Coach and confirmed Saka Mpiima as the Junior Team Head Coach as the 2023/24 season looms. Felix Ayobo maintained his position as the Club’s Fitness Coach.

They maintained Ivan Ssewanyana as Club’s Doctor while Tusuubira Emmanuel is the Club’s Physiotherapist. Bashir Kawooya will be the Club’s Kits Man with Betty Nantale assisting him in this role.
