The situation in which ‘fraudulent’ socialite Olim Charles aka Sipapa has found himself in has only continued to turn dark. It went from really bad to worse.

This is when his legal team announced that they will no longer be representing him in any court matter.

They stated in a letter to Sipapa that his case requires a high level of sophisticated technical expertise to have strong defenses. They said this is because the case is capital in nature.

Apparently, representing Sipapa in his situation requires high facilitation which the accused has failed to provide.

“As a Counsel would have to spend sleepless nights reading the law in order to represent you. That kind of preparedness must be facilitated and remunerated,” the letter reads in part.

Two weeks ago, the police arrested Sipapa for breaking into the home of Jacob Arok in Kawuku Bunga. In the incident that happened on August 28,2022, Sipapa robbed over 1.6 billion.

“When we received your instructions to take over defense of your case, we indicated that you would be charged legal fees for our involvement. So it was clear from day one that our legal services to you were not free or PROBONO. To our disappointment, you have not paid even a single coin to the legal firm as legal fees,” the lawyers add in the letter.

They revealed that despite several repeated demands to their client, nothing has been reflected on the firm accounts.
