Jinja Schools, that is, Jinja Senior Secondary School and Jinja College have submitted their request to host the 2024 East Africa school games. The Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association awarded the 2024 edition to Uganda after the conclusion of this year’s tournament in Rwanda.

Jinja SSS and Jinja College submitted their bid on Thursday at the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association offices.
“Busoga Zone Submits Bid to host FEASSSA Games 2024,” USSSA announced.
Jinja College hosted the 2019 USSSA football championships alongside support from Jinja SSS.
The previous games were held from August 17th to 27th in Huye District in Rwanda. Ugandan representatives ended the tournaments on a high after winning the overall team gold.
Ugandan schools won 17 gold medals, ten silver and nine bronze to rake up a total of 36 medals.
St. Mary’s Kitende was arguably Uganda’s best school sweeping four gold medals in the major sports. Kitende also won gold in boys’ soccer, netball, and girls’ basketball 3×3 and 5×5.
The organizers chose Uganda and Kenya to host the next editions in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
