Jose Chameleone Tears Through Bobi Wine And NUP

Singer Dr Jose Chameleone came out yesterday in an interview with NBS TV to defend his recent actions of denouncing NUP.

The Leone Island singer after being gifted a car by President Museveni’s brother revealed that he has never left NRM.

He there and then started receiving public backlash with NUP principal Bobi Wine also coming out to say that he knew Chameleone wasn’t trustworthy.

However, according to the Kipepewo singer, he really struggled while in NUP despite his intentions being clean then. Chameleone further said that NUP monopolized the struggle and made it seem like one for a few individuals.

He further said that he wonders why people have made his car an issue yet their principal told them not to mind useless things.

The singer also wondered why his car has become such a big talking point yet Bobi Wine’s armored car never had people cursing.

Chameleone also questioned whether people knew how Bobi Wine had gotten it to which they told him that it was bought by his fans.

Jose Chameleone then said it was a fan who also gave him his and people should stop making a fuss about it.

“How come you didn’t investigate where he got the armored car from? Just like how it was from his fans, I also got mine from a fan. What’s wrong with that,” Chameleone said.

He then questioned how they released Bobi Wine’s car with President’s intervention after URA had impounded it over unpaid taxes. The singer said that there had to be communication between the President and one of Bobi Wine’s aides or himself.

Chameleone also said people should stop stereotyping him because of his name or songs.

“People say I change color because of my name so should we say Bobi Wine too is alcohol or when he sang the song Kadingo, he is Kadingo?” Chameleone added.

When they asked if he had left NUP officially, Chameleone said that he was still pondering on the idea.

They also questioned him where his friendship with Bobi Wine now stands. The singer said that during his sickness, Bobi Wine never visited or sent him a message.

He said that he can’t stay with people that don’t value him before crediting Bebe Cool.

He however credited Bobi Wine’s leadership skills but said the friendship ones were lacking.
