Joseph Kabuleta Says He Can’t Work With Museveni Even If Appointed Vice President

Former presidential candidate, Joseph Kabuleta said he can’t work under Museveni even if he was given the vice president spot. He said this while speaking to journalists.

“In this Museveni government, no. Even if it is vice President. The only capacity I can serve is president. I cannot work with these thieves. I am a man of integrity. There are very many people who joined this government with good intentions and i know how they ended up,” Kabuleta said.

Kabuleta said this in light of Museveni’s claims that he can work with his former opponents. The former presidential candidate said Museveni puts one in a position where they are dependent on no one but him. The moment one becomes dependent they can’t see wrong from right so they lose their say to their source of empowerment.

Meanwhile Joseph Kabuleta also said he will go on with his financial liberation campaign because it’s what people need.

“I am going to go and educate people about standing up for their economic rights. Political liberation is important but financial liberation is more important…now I am not bound by the EC Calendar. If people want to listen to me, I have fuel in my car and I have my mouth and my brains and the whole country before me,” he said.
