Juliet Nakiyembe lost her life through human trafficking.
Human trafficking is illegal and risky, though most Ugandans don’t take this issue seriously. Most people especially the girls want to travel abroad for work using short-cuts, they are directed to go through Kenya which is quick and cheap in order to fulfill their dreams, but it’s very dangerous.
All this is caused by unemployment which is becoming rampant in the country, some people do not care at all when it comes to going abroad for work, they don’t think of what might happen next if they go through human traffickers.
Genuine recruitment companies are available in the country, but some people think these companies like Middle East and etc delay them, but let me tell you my brother or sister, when you register with a genuine recruitment company, they’ll make sure everything goes through the right channel, they’ll do their best to expedite the process, though it might take some time, be patience my brother, be patient my sister. Don’t rush with short-cuts, your family needs you and your country needs you.
95% of people in Uganda who are always reported dead including Juliet Nakiyembe go through human traffickers to outside countries, and this causes more tension to established recruitment companies.
