The singer also stressed the fact that her album is not so far from the routes, Africa. Apparently, that is how she wants it to be. Some of the outfits in her videos are African which she says is something she is proud of.
“It is important for me to represent myself as an African. I come from a very special place, Africa. We have a lot to offer and I want to be part of that journey.”
According to her, there is no need to act European to make it to the European market. European musicians never make it to Africa because they act African but instead they remain themselves and we love them. She said this to encourage her fellow Ugandan artists to embrace their routes and not shy away from them.
Meanwhile, she encouraged her fans to keep streaming her album on all the platforms it is on. She assured them that she is not giving up the system of album release because it’s the way to go. She finally thanked Ugandans for all the love they have showered her on her way up the charts of music.
