NUP’S Joyce Bagala In Trouble As Court Nullifies Her Election In Mityana

The high court in Mubende has nullified the election of Joyce Bagala as Woman MP for Mityana. This comes after former MP Judith Nabakooba filed for this cancellation due to the mischiefs during the election period. The case has been in court for some time and the election has been deemed null and void.

The court settled for a fresh election and the day will soon be communicated. However, months ago when court told her to produce evidence that Joyce Bagala bribed voters, she said she didn’t have evidence. Apparently, she said she was only told by her agents so she didn’t even have the DR forms.

The ruling of the court has angered many citizens who say court just wants to waste taxpayers money. Otherwise, they don’t see any grounds court based on to nullify this election.

“Just wasting the tax payer’s money…let it be stated clearly, that should the election results still keep Joyce Bagala as a winner, Judith Nabakooba should pay back all the money used by both the former and EC!,” a one Ruth wrote.

Meanwhile, voters of NUP have however promised that this is now going to be a landslide win to prove that they truly supported their candidate. This is one by-election to look out for.
