Kabako Advises Musicians In Uganda National Musicians Federation To Disband It

Singer Kabako has come out to advice leaders of the newly formed association, Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) to disband it. Ever since this federation was formed, it has received a widespread critisicm from different people.

Some think it’s just a tool to misuse public funds(taxes). Others believe it was created by government to counter Bobi Wine’s influence among young people.

The singer said that all the musicians in this Federation are big brands. Kabako added that the money they intend to fleece from the government can be used to build a hospital or road. Therefore, they should just head to the studio and do music. And also disband this plot.

“All the artists in the federation are big brands, the money they want to get from the government can build a hospital, repair roads and so much more. Let all the musicians in this federation go to the studio, record music and leave this bullsh*t,” he said.

Apparently the Sitidde singer who aligns with Bobi Wine thinks that this Federation is going nowhere.

Just like Bobi Wine and all the musicians who subscribe to him, they think that the Federation is an absurd project which won’t achieve anything.

Meanwhile Kabako also said that he finds it difficult to call Sheebah a vice president despite them being close friends.

The former TNS singer added that he was only informed about the Federation by Gravity Omutujju. This was a shock to him as Sheebah is his close friend and is at the front of the Federation.
