Local musician Yusuf Ssenabulya alias Kabako has thrown shade at western Uganda musician Ray G following another singer, Feffe Bussi’s concert. It should be noted that Feffe Bussi held a successful debut concert at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
This concert which was dubbed Hip-hop Ku Nalubaale was attended by a lot of people as well as musicians. It was here that Kabako stated that the Influencer singer had made them proud.
He added that what people showed Feffe Bussi is the real love as there were no buses to ferry people from upcountry to attend the concert.
“I want to congratulate Feffe Bussi. He has really made us proud. Now this is what they call true love. There were no buses to ferry people to come and attend this concert,” he said.
It should be noted that following Ray G’s highly successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval a few days ago, a few controversies arose. Some people and some musicians didn’t seem to be pleased with his concert being successful and hinged the argument on tribalism.
Others wondered why a Western-based Ugandan musician couldn’t stage the concert in his region. They further alluded his success to buses ferrying people from the West. However, the majority were happy for the Forever singer and went ahead to congratulate him.
Ray G has even announced a new concert but this will take place in his hometown of Mbarara. He has named it the ‘Ray G Homecoming Concert.’ This will be sort of like a festival according to the singer.
