Kabale Woman’s Sudden Death Worries Authorities And Relatives

Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 25-year-old woman. She died after being admitted at Rugarama Hospital in Kabale Municipality.

Police confirmed that the deceased, Arinatwe Annet died on December 2nd 2021 shortly after her admission. It is her husband, only identified as Saturday, who had initially rushed her to the hospital.

The deceased is said to have been a business woman in Kabale Municipality.

Apparently, her and her husband had lived together since 2015. However, the man had never made an official visit to Annet’s parents to formalize their marriage. And now that she died, her relatives became suspicious and reported the matter to the police.

However, the husband had gone missing from his home and he also abandoned the business they ran together with the deceased.

A resident of Nyakibungo village, also said to be a relative of the deceased, Bekunda Obadia, reported the case according to police.

Immediately, they sprung into action and picked the deceased’s body and took it to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem.

The case of sudden death has since been reported at Kabale Central Police Station. It is under reference number CRB 1021/2021 to help in the investigations.
