Speaker Kadaga Is Not Sober Enough- Nambooze

The Age Limit Debate kicked off today Monday early morning spearheaded by the speaker of parliament Rebecca kadaga.

The debate is all about whether the constitution of Uganda should be touched by allowing one above 75 years to be the president of Uganda.

However, some security men entered the house thus causing some MP’s to became curious as to why the security personnel had entered the parliament.

The speaker said that the security personnel where her personal body guards..

This reply from the speaker made MP’s to sing the Nation Anthem as a sign of unity among them.

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has once again suspended MPs from the house owing to a chaotic age limit debate.

he suspended include Honourables Ssemujju Nganda, Mubarak Munyagwa, Odur Jack Lutanywa, Akol Lily, Allan Ssewanyana, among others.

The suspended MPs are not expected to take part in the afternoon session beginning at 2pm.

It all started when deputy Attorney General, Hon. Mwesigwa Rukutana moved a motion that rule 201 b be suspended so that the debate can proceed.

The house went into a frenzy leading to noise and more noise coming from all angles.

The Speaker called for order but it was not working.

The house got more chaotic by the minute as MP Mubarack Munyagwa was being accused of supporting the lifting of the age limit.
