Kadongo Kamu Singer Mukunja Ataseera Beaten By Unknown Thugs

Kadongo Kamu singer Mukunja Ataseera is apparently in critical condition fighting for his life after unknown thugs beat him to a pulp. One of his close associates revealed that the thugs picked and beat him mercilessly.

The Twatoba singer is currently nursing his wounds at Mulago hospital with cuts and burns all over his body.

“He was picked up by unknown goons from his home who vandalized the property there. I was also alerted by some police officer in Namasuba. On reaching there, he looked so frail and in critical condition. We don’t know who did this to him but his body has bruises and burns. He’s in bad condition to be precise,” the associate said.

The singer was at the centre of controversy during the recent Janzi Awards ceremony. This was after he traded blows with another Kadongo Kamu artist, Gerald Kiwewa.

Mukunja Ataseera accused Kiwewa of conniving with Phina Mugwerwa to swindle their money from Gen Salim Saleh. Security pulled off the singer from the stage to calm the situation down.

His pals have a strong belief that his kidnap and torture had something to do with the incidents at Kololo Independence grounds event.
