The deputy lord mayor of Kampala, Doreen Nyanjura has come out to reveal what her ideal wedding day would be like. Nyanjura who has always given mixed opinions about marriage and family this time differed from her earlier arguments.

Now, whereas many prefer the common big church wedding clad in wedding gowns, Nyanjura apparently doesn’t.

She just fancies a civil wedding clad in her blue jean trousers. Not just her jeans but her dad’s jeans. This would make a dream and perfect wedding for her.

“I honestly have never imagined myself in a wedding gown! Maybe a civil marriage, when I am clad in jeans, is ideal for me,” said Nyanjura.

According to Nyanjura, someone’s son said that she would look pretty in a gown. And so she decided to clarify to her potential suitors that a gown is not her thing.

The politician added that she thinks she would even look funny in a gown. However, we don’t know if there is even a man ready to walk her down the aisle.

Nyanjura has always played coy in her relationships. She at one time says she’s single and another confirms how she’s got a man in her life.

Her social media suitor, NRM MP Hon Daudi Kabanda immediately retweeted Nyanjura’s post by attaching eye emojis. He probably was wondering how a church marriage won’t be possible yet he’s a staunch conservative catholic.
