Further, Karole said that even Azawi wrote one of the songs on this album, ‘Limited Edition.’
Karole went ahead to reveal that she recorded this album about 2 years ago. This was during the COVID-19 lockdown. She at one point had to use a ‘tipa’ car to access the studio for a recording session.
“I was inspired by Azawi’s #AfricanMusicAlbum success. The singer also wrote one of the songs on my Limited Edition Album. I also recorded my Limited Edition Album in the COVID-19 lockdown. At some point, I used a ‘tipa’ to access the recording studios,” she revealed.
Karole Kasita recently launched her Limited Edition Album that has 11 songs on it. This includes features from a number of artistes. The launch had a number of artists in attendance as has become the norm of Ugandan artists supporting each other nowadays.
Azawi on the other hand had a well-crafted album that saw her reach great heights musically. These included even appearing on the famous New York Times Square Billboard.
Her album which was full of hit songs even translated into a sold-out concert that was recently hosted at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Karole Kasita is therefore hoping to replicate the same success. Azawi meanwhile is under a label that understands the game so well and full of talent.
Karole on the other hand is a hustler who doesn’t have a proper management team. She even prior to this album release parted ways with her manager.
