Before referring her to a better facility, Kellen Ndangali says she first got admitted at Katwe Health Centre III. They unfortunately failed to handle her case.
She got stuck and it is only with the help of the nurses who collected some transport money for her that she went to Kasese town.
Ndanagali 39, is a resident of Kakoni Cell in Katwe Kabatoro town council, Busongora County South. On November 4, she came to Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital by a taxi, operated with a set of twins. A baby boy and girl.
From the time she had the procedure, Ndagali has not seen anyone of her relatives as she and her twins are under hospital care.
Now with disabilities, she is calling upon Ugandans to come to her rescue. She maintains that the disability makes her incapable of caring for her twins.
To add salt to injury, she revealed that her husband also abandoned her at the facility.
Emily Akampurira, a nurse who is currently taking care of her at the health facility says the twins mother’s condition is steadily improving.
