Girl singing duo, Kataleya and Kandle have opened up about why they parted ways with their former Management, Theron Music. It should be noted that the singers were en route to conquering the music industry.
They released a couple of hit songs and had some top-notch collaborations. However, a few months ago, they had disagreements with their management. Their music was put on hold and their social media pages ceased being updated.
Now, a few months after being off the grid, they bounced back a few days ago in a collaboration titled Tompa featuring Vinka.
This is doing relatively well. The duo said that during their “hibernation”, a number of people reached out, a thing that they hugely appreciate.
In regards to their former management, they said that a time reached and they figured that the terms and conditions they had signed were unfair.
They were no longer earning enough income. Attempts to renegotiate them failed and they decided to part ways. The duo said that they haven’t changed their names too. They just rebranded to K&K music.
“We had disagreements with our former management, Theron Music. This is because some of the terms we had agreed upon changed, and we weren’t earning enough from our career. We are now under K&K music.”
“During the recess (musical break), many people tried to reach out to us, and we are truly grateful. We also thank Vinka for collaborating with us on our new song “Tompa.” Our names haven’t changed; we just updated our music handles to K&K music,” they said.
They further said that there is no way they can quit music. This is because they have come from afar to reach where they are currently.
