Kato Lubwama Stings Political Analyst Charles Rwomushana

Former Rubaga North mp Kato Lubwama is a comical man who has proved his humorous abilities over time. While appearing on NBS’ Uncut show, the comedian aimed a dig at political analyst Charles Rwomushana.

This was after Rwomushana a while back said that Kato Lubwama was not fit to run for Parliament. Rwomushama added that instead of Kato Lubwama asking the voters to send him to parliament to fill up his belly, he should have asked for medication.

However, according to the comedian, Rwomushana did not understand the context (Kato) of his statements. The former MP said that politicians should stop confusing people with promises of services.

He said that ‘eating’ is what has kept President Museveni stuck in power.

“Rwomushana was my guild president at Makerere University for one year. The first Munyankore to be. He however didn’t understand the context of my words. All politicians want to eat, it’s the reason even president Museveni is stuck in power. Just ask him if he would rule without all the luxuries and see. The likes of Bobi Wine are all coming to eat,” Kato Lubwama said.

The comedian has never been shy about revealing why he went to Parliament. While campaigning for his first term, he told his voters to elect him so that he could go and eat.

In the second term, he told them to elect him so that he could bring for them to eat too. This however proved to be unsuccessful as he was defeated in the general elections.
