King Saha Blasts NUP Politicians

Musician Mansour Ssemanda alias King Saha has come out to blast NUP Politicians. He rebuked especially the MPs and Councilors for being silent and going against the party targets.

Saha while speaking yesterday at the party headquarters where the party held prayers to pray for their comrades lost in the 2020 riots in Kampala said that they have eyes wide open on these politicians.

He accused them of neglecting their party president at a time when he always needs them the most. The Zakayo singer added that when the 2026 elections come, this is when these people are going to know voters who subscribe to the party are angry.

They will table young-minded and change-hungry candidates to go after them and throw them out of their fancy positions. This is because they have failed to speak up and remained silent over the various government injustices.

“You MPs and Councilors, we as the voters have our eyes really wide open and watching you. Come the next general elections, we shall prove to you how much hatred and disappointment we have in you. You have totally been silent and helped the enemy to come closer to us. Instead of speaking for the people, you speak for yourselves. For that matter, we are going to let the youths who are hungry for change run against you. This is so that they can throw you out of those positions so we can further our agenda,” the singer said.

According to King Saha, these MPs did not need to go to Parliament when Bobi Wine was shot with ‘bullets.’ It was however verified that it was a teargas canister.

Saha though believes NUP MPs needed to abstain from Parliament at least for a week to express their dissatisfaction.
