Musician King Saha has vented his fury with the type of questions asked by the census enumerators. It should be noted that the 2024 census is currently ongoing.
However, many people have come out to express their dissatisfaction with the way the exercise has been carried out.
The Mulirwana singer said that the questions the enumerators were asking him were so irrelevant. He wondered how they could ask him questions such as whether his house was tiled.
If he had a basin to wash his hands. Or if he has ever slept hungry yet everyone knows most people starved during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, the singer said that he thought they would ask useful questions such as how many children he has or if there is an elderly person in his household. These are the things that the government has to consider while planning for the masses.
“I was very disappointed in the questions that they asked me. They are so irrelevant according to what the government should be planning for its people. In fact it was me who told the enumerator to go because I was tired of answering those useless questions,” he said.
The singer also talked about his upcoming album which has over 100 songs. Apparently, King Saha has branded this album a revolutionary one. He has already released two songs off it.
The singer went ahead to reveal his research by saying that Uganda has about 30,000km of roads. These need not more than one trillion shillings to be rehabilitated and renovated. However, the current leaders are not bothered at all.
All they care about is grossly enriching themselves without caring about the people they lead. However, he warned them that once the country starts to crumble, they will surely also feel the ruble upon themselves.
