Handing over the items to the office of the prime minister, KK Travelers marketing head Idro Ashad Taban said the donation will help boost health services in West Nile.
Taban added that the donation is part of their corporate social responsibility and response to presidential appeal to private sector to support government on covid intervention. Taban however challenged individual to continue with the drive to mobilise resources and commodities despite the lock down.
KK travelers operates cargo and transport businesses in West Nile region. Mary okurut minister in the office of the prime minister lauded KK travelers for the support saying support was timely looking at low medical commodities on health centre’s however urged individuals to continue mobilisation since covid fight still rages on.
“The private sector and individuals should heed to the call but the president and support national covid task force manned by office of the prime minister to curb covid pandemic.
