Korea Expressway Donates Items Worth 42,000 Dollars To Ministry Of Health

Korea Expressway Corporation has donated face masks and COVID test kits worth 42,000 dollars to the ministry of health.

Kim KiSong the firms Deputy General manager says this will contribute towards increasing services to the medical intervention during this COVID season.

“The support will double government efforts and contribution of fighting COVID 19. We appreciate the Ugandan government for her efforts to combat the pandemic. And emphasizing that COVID can be overcome,” Kim said.

However, he was quick to add that the Korea expressway will ease the South Korea experience with Uganda. It will also help to eliminate COVID that has devastated the economy.

Uganda National Roads Authority boss John Ssejemba pledged to mobilize more stakeholders to contribute resources to the government for the COVID fight.

“UNRA has been spearheading the campaign to raise resources to support the ministry of health. It’s on this note that Korea expressway supports the ministry of health. This they did with 1,920 test kits and 10,200 face mask worth 42,000 dollars,” he said.

Ms Korea expressway is currently working with unra to executive consultancy services contract of the preparation of the expressway development master plan for Uganda.
