Kyambogo University To Import Cuban Lecturers At Campus

The famous Kyambogo University is so eager and set to import Cuban lecturers to bridge the stuffing gap at the school of engineering. This agreement came into existence after realizing the weakness academically that was taking place at campus.

 Cuban Lectures to solve up academic problems at Kyambogo University.

However, while appearing before the Education Committee yesterday, Prof. Fabian Nabugwomu the deputy University vice chancellor said that they have already signed a memorandum of understanding with the Cuban government to have these lecturers in Uganda before it’s too late.

He added that Uganda does not have enough engineering professors, thus they had no choice but to resort to importation of these Cuban lecturers, which will solve and improve on the education standards at campus.

According to sources, the university has signed a deal that will import 15 lecturers each earning Shs 7 millions salary per month. Most of the people claimed that, instead of releasing all that money to them, they should invest it in Ugandan lectures to up-grade their professionalism.
