Kylian Mbappe Addresses His Alleged Fractious Relationship With Vini Jr

Real Madrid and French forward Kylian Mbappe has addressed his alleged fractious relationship with fellow teammate and Brazilian, player, Vini Jr. Mbappe joined the Los Blancos from PSG at the start of this season. This was a highly profiled transfer.

Mbappe has been performing fairly but has faced criticism from sections of pundits and fans. Part of the problem has been because he’s being played as a centre-forward yet he thrives more as a left winger.

This is the same number that Vinicius plays in and the Frenchman has been often seen drifting towards the left.

Several comparisons have since then been drawn up with some saying that Mbappe has to adapt as a forward. This is because Vini is the best left winger in the world and won’t pave way for the 25-year-old.

However, some voices have predicted that it’s the 24-year-old Brazilian who should be shoved aside to afford Mbappe in his favorite number. This is because he’s the star player. Besides Mbappe never seemed bothered to post a message of solidarity when tables turned during the recent Ballon d’Or ceremony.

After Rodri was crowned the winner, many professional footballers came out to renounce this decision. They stated that the Brazilian was the rightful winner and fellow Madrid players showed support.

Mbappe though wasn’t part and some have been saying that he has an ego that won’t let him succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, the 2022 World Cup winner has said that he has a good relationship with the former Flamengo winger putting aside all the rumors.

“l have a very good relationship with Vini. The best players are at Real Madrid and we are ready to win. I am surprised because I did not know the quality of the Castilla players,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mbappe was on the score sheet in the 43rd minute as Real Madrid won 3-0 against Leganes. The other goals were scored by Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham. Carlo Ancelotti’s side are now 4 points behind league leaders, Barcelona with a game to spare.
