Lady Mariam’s Sister Swabura Drags Her To Police Over Unpaid Debt

The one-hit-wonder Lady Mariam has been dragged to CID police in Kibuli by her sister, Swabura. The incident happened after the singer failed to pay a debt amounting to UGX7m back to her sister.

While at CID headquarters in Kibuli, Swabura explained that the debt accumulated during the period she worked abroad. During her stay overseas, she narrated that she always sent Lady Mariam money to buy her a plot of land.

She also tasked the Tindatine hitmaker to start the construction of her house which she would complete upon her return to Uganda.

However, upon Swabura’s return, Lady Mariam started playing funny tricks and telling her different stories about money.

When the two failed to agree, Lady Mariam apparently involved the police and planned to have Swabura arrested.

This then forced Swabura to run to the CID police headquarters in Kibuli where she filed a new case against the faded singer. Swabura wants police to arrest her sister so that she can produce the money she mishandled.
