Tindatine Fame Singer Lady Mariam’s Row With Sister Deepens

Faded singer Lady Mariam famous for her Tindatine hit song has seen a new twist in the row she’s having with her sister a one Kirungi Swabra. The pair have been in the news over the past few days with Kirungi accusing her sister of fraudulently chewing her money.

She revealed that Lady Mariam who is her younger sister was meant to help her buy a house. However, after sending her the money, the singer chewed it with her husband a one Mutanga. Kirungi further revealed that this is not the first time the singer is chewing her money.

The Tindatine duped her into investing in her bar only to make a u-turn and kick her out of it.

“Lady Mariam has done so many bad things to me. At first, I came from Malaysia with Shs 11m and she picked me from the airport. She then took me to her struggling bar in Kireka and said I can invest in it as she was going to Tanzania to get married and no longer needed it. She later came back and fired all the workers and reclaimed the bar with my money in it. I told her to at least give me Shs 6m so that I go back for Kyeyo but she told she had no money even after selling off the bar. This is not the first time she’s chewing my money. Even after sending her the 7m shillings to buy me the house, she chewed it,” a teary Swabra said.

She added that Lady Mariam had even took her to Police with an intention to get her jailed. However, after Police learned both sides, they acquitted Kirungi of any wrongdoing.

They asked Swabra why their family can’t intervene. However, she said that they have no family members as most of them died. She said the only person alive is deep in the village and can’t do anything to solve this crisis.

Swabra also shockingly said that Lady Mariam practices witchcraft and has enticed her several times to join her cult. She however vowed to never do this and said she only bows to God. When Lady Mariam was contacted for a reply on these allegations she just switched off the phone.
