The incidents saw the youthful pastor even sent behind bars this week but was later released. This woman then proceeded to take Jjengo to Court accusing him of failing to fulfill their agreement.
She revealed that she had earlier taken the pastor to Police as she wanted child support for her one daughter with the late pastor.
It was ordered that Jjengo will be paying her Ugx 400,000 monthly but he breached this agreement.
“There is a lot that I really don’t want to say about the church and the late. I however ran to the authorities seeking for justice because I have no job and my child needs support. Jjengo had agreed to be paying me Ugx 100,000 weekly and 400,000 monthly. This money was only meant for food and other home necessities. It doesn’t include things like school fees and the rest. He however breached the contract and I decided to seek justice,” she revealed.
It’s however allegedly revealed that the pastor failed to raise this money on a monthly basis.
This lady was however not having any of this as she said that how come Andrew Jjengo has been able to maintain his lifestyle.
However, Jjengo’s defence arjued that he has no responsibility of looking after his deceased father’s children. It was further debated that the assets of the late Yiga be sold and the proceeds given to the beneficiaries.
It was also said that anyone who isn’t a wife to the pastor won’t be a beneficiary. The late pastor had a number of assets in and around town including Revival Church in Kawala and ABS TV.
