During a parliamentary meeting on Thursday, Hon. Anthony Akol urged the house that he was not checked when he arrived at Entebbe International Airport, which scared other MPs who were near him thus showing him an exit.
Immediately after hearing this, the Kasilo County MP, Elijah Okupa wondered if it was right to allow Akol sit on the same table with them in the house yet he didn’t self-quarantined in the past 14 days.
However, the speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga on her orders, asked Anthony to leave the house and get self-quarantine for the mandatory 14 days.
“You admitted on the Hansard that you traveled to these places. Please go and self-quarantine” Kadaga said.
Don’t forget rules and restrictions to get rid of the infection were recently passed out.
