Lillian Mbabazi And Cindy Sanyu Say They Can’t Let Their Kids Join The Current Music Industry

Two of the Blu 3 singers, Lillian Mbabazi and Cindy Sanyu have revealed that they can’t let their kids join the current music industry. The singers appeared on Capital FM for an exclusive interview in the buildup towards their Legends Of Sound Blu 3 Reunion concert. This concert is slated to take place in 22nd June at the Kampala Sheraton Gardens.

The singers were asked if they see some of their kids taking after them and joining the music industry. Lillian Mbabazi said that her daughter has an amazing voice. However, she wouldn’t want her to join the current industry.

The Vitamin singer said that she can only support her to do gospel music but not secular music. This is because the industry is much worse than it was during their time. According to Lillian, she can’t fathom her daughter doing songs such as Enkudi or Hozaambee.

“My daughter has an amazing voice but I don’t want her to join this music industry. It’s very scary and crazier than our time. Imagine her singing Enkudi or Hozaambee. If she wants to sing, I would encourage her to sing for Jesus.”

Cindy too on the other hand said that she feels the same way. The quality of music has dipped and the industry isn’t safe at all.

Therefore, she would support her daughter in gospel music. The three singers meanwhile promised fans a wholesome experience.

They further said that they had almost forgotten some of the lyrics of their songs due to the time spent apart.

Cindy too had to step in for the songs the group did in her exit with Mya. However, they have mastered everything and are only waiting for the day to deliver an exciting performance.
