Even though many can’t get the one chance of capturing a one- on- one snap with the him, the 16 year old Enija Davidonyte, was blessed to have a one on one selfie with Pope Francis.

This amusing moment of Enija came into action as Pope Francis left the Apostolic Nunciature, the Vatican’s diplomatic mission in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

Enija ,who goes to school in the area, quickly whipped out her smartphone to capture the once-in-a-lifetime souvenir of their meeting. She later posted the selfie on Facebook, captioned: ‘I feel absolutely blessed! I met with Pope Francis today and actually got to take a picture and meet him.’

Although the young teenager captured the moment, Thousands of Americans lined the papal route in Washington, D.C. to catch a glimpse of Francis in the Pontiff mobile.
