Lydia Jazmine Not Amused With Past Year’s Music Rankings

Songstress Lydia Nabawanukka aka Lydia Jazmine has come out to express her disappointment in some of the musical rankings of 2021.

The singer has been one of the most consistent singer’s for the last few years. She has been able to maintain herself in the top 5 female performers for quite some years now.

However, some people feel that she’s not quite aggressive like her counterparts such as Sheebah or Spice Diana. And yet a majority agree that she’s much talented than many.

Taking to her social media handlers, Jazmine said that although some people tried to overlook her previous year, she’s sure she had a great one musically.

She proceeded to thank everyone from fans to the management team that’s worked with her on previous projects. The Omalawo singer had about 4 songs although 3 of them were collabos.

Her single Akapeesa and Banange with Ykee Benda were her biggest jams of the year.

“Today, we end yet another difficult year for the music industry but I want to say thank you very much to my LJ Addicts who have supported me endlessly. It has been a GREAT YEAR FOR ME! I must say we have ACHIEVED a lot despite the fact that we were not allowed to perform and the lockdown!”

“We started the year with one of your favourite songs, Goodnight with Rickman Manrick To A-Z… To Feeling with iamgrenadeofficial To Banange with ykee benda and the love for all was Massive  We closed the year with Kapeesa that is still trending on charts.”

“I am one Female Artist this year with over 4 BIG songs , some people may act blind to admitting this and not recognizing the efforts but regardless, your love my fans always keeps me going.”

“To the small team, I work with, thank you all. Your efforts are much appreciated

I am prepared to give you the very best of LJ come 2022… Happy New Year LJ Addicts, Lovers and Supporters.”

The singer has been under a number of management teams and is currently managed by Ronnie Mulindwa formerly of Obsessions.
