The singer is one of Uganda’s female musicians that people haven’t complained about especially the upcoming stars. Most upcoming musicians find difficulties when approaching established artistes.
They are often pushed away and denied opportunities. Lydia Jazmine said she is not one of those people who push upcoming artistes away. She said she instead supports these artistes in all ways possible.
The singer said there is no way she can watch a young artiste struggle yet there is a way she can help them get out of that phase.
“Each year, I take it upon myself to support emerging and talented individuals who are facing challenges in breaking into the music industry. Whether it’s an artiste, a producer, or anyone else. I understand the struggle they face because I’ve been in their shoes before,” she said in her recent interview.
Another musician who has vowed to help upcoming musicians is Karole Kasita. She said she wouldn’t like any other person to go through what she went through.
She has given young talents like Mudra a platform to showcase their talents and at the moment he is one of the most trending musicians in Uganda.
