President Magufuli Rewards Taifa Stars Players With Pieces Of Land

Tanzania’s president His Excellency John Pombe Magufuli offered each Taifa Star player with a piece of land and hard cash equivalent to Shs17 million for qualifying to Africa cup of Nations 2019.

On Sunday, Tanzania won against Uganda 3-0 in Tanzania’s capital, Dar-es-Salam and qualified for 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations for the first time in thirty-nine years.

Tanzania’s winning goals were scored by Msuva Simon and Nyoni Erasto.

After an exciting performance, president Pombe Magufuli invited the Taifa Stars at the State House in Dar-es-Salam where he appreciated the players and promised huge rewards.

The president also went ahead and asked the players to work hard and win the tournament in Egypt.
