Mama Fina Lashes Out At Religious Leaders After Kato Lubwama’s Burial

Renowned traditional healer, Sylvia Namutebi popularly known as Mama Fina has lashed out at all religious leaders. This is especially those who refused to pray for the late Kato Lubwama who was buried yesterday at his ancestral home In Nkozi, Mpigi district.

Apparently, in his will, the late had said that he wished to be taken to St Matia Mulumba for a requeim mass. However, the Catholic church refused to offer prayers for him.

Despite attempts from different corners, the church stood it’s ground. This was on the basis that the late had openly denounced the church and rarely went there to pray.

With no options left, Pastor Aloysious Bugingo was fished in to offer the prayers. It was the same yesterday with Bugingo and Pastor Wilson Bugembe offering the send off prayer.

Speaking to the mourners, Mama Fina said that she knows the church is currently ashamed. And besides, it was them who had the last laugh because finally they got people to pray for the late.

“For those who refused to pray for the late Kato Lubwama’s soul, we know you’re ashamed because we finally got people to pray for him. All is now well,” she said.

This incident divided a lot of opinion amongst the public. Some said that the church was right to stand it’s ground. Others said that it wasn’t the right decision because Kato Lubwama was already dead.
