“It’s at the point where boomer decision-makers are telling the rest of us we need to stay in place indefinitely until we hit some magical covid number. Seriously, … You’re going to babysit our children? Are you going to socialize our children? You ain’t doing shit for us.” He wrote
Karami showed his concern for the children who seem to have forgotten what it means to socialize. He points out the fact that children are starting to have suicidal thoughts.
“Our kids are missing years of education and socializing. They’re scared of strangers, they’re stuck indoors, screen times are out of control. And parents are drowning in all of the responsibility that they’re being to solely take on with zero help.”
“Talk to any social worker or someone who works in education, they will tell you that young children are suffering from serious mental health issues. Elementary students with suicidal thoughts and reports of physical and sexual abuse are up.” He added.
Clearly, this must be a problem for the entire world now. We just can’t have another lockdown, otherwise, many children will have mental health issues. Governments should find other means rather than lockdown to help the situation or else they will handle deeper issues.
