Man Stabbed To Death By Thieves In Jinja

Shocking news that reached our desk this morning indicates that Police in Jinja district is searching for a group of thieves who stabbed a man to death.

The victim identified as Bogere Yusuf, 30, was killed on Thursday night in Budhumbuli East village located in Bugembe town council at around 9pm when he went to withdraw 50,000 shillings from a nearby mobile money agent shop.

It is alleged that four men surrounded him and asked for his phone, when he resisted, Yusuf ended up loosing everything including his life.

The unidentified thugs stabbed Yusuf twice before running away living him in a pool of blood and pain.

Some residents in the area tried so hard to rush the man to Jinja Regional hospital emergency ward where his life ended in sorrow.

According to sources around, people have failed to comply with the presidential directives on Covid-19 prevention, which led to an increase in crime rates. Abbey Ngako the Kiira Region Police spokesperson, said that a team was sent to hunt the suspects in every corner.
