Harry Kane wanted by Man-United In Hopes To Calm Fans

Man-United Hope To Calm Fans By Landing Tottenham’s Harry Kane

Manchester United is set to lodge a £90 million bid for Tottenham talisman Harry Kane this summer.

The team hopes that this mega signing will reduce the anger towards the Glazer family’s ownership according to reports.

In recent events, United supporters have vented their anger towards the Americans, with frustration boiling over on Sunday. Protests at Old Trafford turned ugly before the team’s home game against Liverpool after a section of fans forced their way onto the pitch.

They set off flares and smoke bombs forcing a postponement of the game.

The United faithful are adamant that Joel and Avram Glazer should both sell off the team.

This is because they had an involvement with the European Super League. The idea of this league sparked off a string of criticism around the world.

However, despite all of this, the Glazers are now targeting Harry Kane hoping that this will calm things down. The Red Devils are keen to submit an official offer should the Spurs forward hand in a transfer request.

After another disappointing season that saw Spurs slip away from the title race, many have linked Kane to an exit from north London. They also kicked the team out of the Europa League and the FA Cup, on top of losing to Man City in the Carabao Cup final.

In person, Kane has achieved a lot, but the 28-year-old is desperate to add some silverware to his glittering career. He admitted that he wants to win ‘team trophies’ and not just personal awards.

Kane would be interested in a move to Old Trafford; however, Spurs’ Chief Daniel Levy insists that he will not sell to a Premier League rival.

But given the difficult financial time at Spurs, they might accept a big offer to reinvest in the squad.
