Manhattan Grand Jury Fails To Meet Over The Stormy Daniels “Hush Money Case”

The former US president Donald Trump lived to see another day as the grand jury expected to preside over the the alleged illegal hush money payments didn’t meet as had been expected on Wednesday.

However it’s not yet clear why it didn’t happen or how much longer the grand jury would take to conclude its work.

The grand jury which comprises of a panel of US citizens from Manhattan was considering the evidence presented in the stormy Daniels trump case.

The panel is likely to reconvene on Thursday now. However the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office had been investigating the $130,000 that had been paid to Stormy Daniels as Trump campaigned for the 2016 presidential elections.

In addition the porn star further says she had an affair with Trump in 2006 while still married to his wife Melania.

All these accusations come at a time Donald Trump tries to return to White House in 2024 on Republican presidential nomination.

It’s typical in a non violent case like this one for the district attorney to work out the timing for a defendant to surrender spokes person for the New York State court system said.

“It could be three days ,it could be a week later , it could be in May,” said Lucian Chalfen.

Some of Trump’s fellow republicans say the probe by Bragg, a democrat was politically motivated. Half of the Americans also believe the New York investigation was politically motivated since many of them find it believable that Donald Trump paid hush money to a porn star according to opinion poll.
