Martha Kay Asks Women With Good Marriages To Speak More Often

Social media comedienne and radio personality, Martha Kagimba aka Martha Kay has asked women who have good and healthy relationships to speak up more often.

According to her, most of the ladies that speak are the ones in toxic relationships.

Apparently, all that is said is how men are trash and bad. This definitely scares the other women who are yet to get into relationships and marriages.

Martha also gave an example of how she was recently at a bridal shower. The woman who was supposed to be the one encouraging the bride to be and other ladies was apparently negative.

She had been married for ten years and all she told the incoming bride is to simply be strong.

“I wish the girls in healthy loving relationships could speak out more about it. All we see is these “men are trash” and we are scared. The other day I was at a bridal shower and this lady who’s been married almost 10yrs said, “the only thing I can tell u is-be strong”, she said.

Without a doubt, the current generation of both women and men fear marriage and commitment. They also see marital life as a lifetime prison full of unhappiness.

Furthermore, this has been influenced by the numerous negative statements by those in the institution.

Although, there are many people troubled in their marriages, there are equally or even more of others who are so much happy in their marriages.

Unfortunately, they don’t make a lot of noise like the unhappy ones. This definitely has the unmarried people thinking that there is nothing good in lifetime commitments. Even those who do accept, they usually come with a negative sentiments about marriage.
