The Kampala metropolitan spokesperson Patrick Onyango said investigations into the fire have started.

“A team  involving forensics, national building review board and others have been formed to  help in the investigation,”Onyango said

While the exact origin remains unknown at this time, preliminary reports suggest that an electrical fault may have sparked the blaze. However, a comprehensive assessment will be conducted to ascertain the precise circumstances leading to the incident.
