Mathias Mpuuga Claims His Enemies Will Never Be Half Of Him Even In 50 Years

The former leader of Opposition Hon Mathias Mpuuga has said that even if he gave 50 years to those who have been slandering his name, they can’t even become half of him. According to Mpuuga, slandering his name has been a business for some people. They have gotten lunch, bottles of liquor and others have gotten over it.

The Member of Parliament for Nyendo-Mukungwe municipality said that one doesn’t wake up and just become Mpuuga. It took him years to build his brand. Therefore, he will give his next course of action in due time. Besides, the legislator said that he’s a man who takes his time and doesn’t rush decisions.

“Some people have been slandering my name for so long. On it they have gotten lunch, bottles of waragi. Some have even gotten wealth off slandering me. However, you just don’t wake up to be Mpuuga. This is my time and space and in due course, I will announce my next course of action. I don’t rush in making decisions,” he said.

It should be noted that the MP fell out with his party, the National Unity Platform several months ago. This is after he was cited in an alleged corruption scandal. Since then, he has been slandered by NUP’s hierarchy and supporters. Although the MP has barely fired back, he’s also taken time to address these allegations.

Meanwhile Court this week said the service award he was accused of partaking in that saw many brand him a corrupt leader was deemed legal.
