Mathias Walukagga Reveals Motive Behind Masaka Murders

Singer Mathias Walukagga has come out to reveal what he thinks could be the motive behind the shocking murders with machetes by unknown assailants in the Masaka subregion.

The Kyengera town council mayor said that these criminals are jealous of the area’s progress.

He said that after the Kabaka lobbied for Masaka to become a city, there has been a rise in the number of prominent people in the area.

It’s this that has prompted these murderers to go ahead gruesomely beheading the people.

“After the Kabaka lobbying for us to get a city, these goons decided to go and lag our development behind. They don’t like seeing any one progress and that’s what’s hurting them.” Mathias Walukagga said.

He added that he once sang in his song that Buddu where Masaka falls means a safe haven where people can seek refuge. These however should only seek refuge and not wreck havoc on the area and it’s inhabitants.

He further said that it’s disturbing how these murderers can commit such atrocities after all the hospitality accorded by the locals.

He went ahead to call upon these goons whom he says might be fans of his music to listen to it. After listening to it, they should then cease killing people.

He sent his sympathies to all those who have lost their family members before cursing these murderers.
