MC Kats Cries Out To The President To Support His HIV/AIDS Campaigns

TV host and events emcee, Edwin Katamba popularly known as MC Kats has recently become the new face of HIV advocacy. He recently had an opportunity to give a keynote address about the disease and end stigma in Uganda before the president.

President Museveni seemed impressed by MC Kats’ speech about the efforts to spread awareness about HIV. He kept nodding in agreement throughout Kats’ presentation.

When the journos caught up with MC Kats, he expressed his gratitude towards the fact that the president loved his talk. When asked what he would want from the president, he said he only wants support for his awareness campaigns.

“I am not going to ask for a car like most people do. I don’t need it now. I was born to serve and I want to do that , it makes me happy, and doesn’t matter if I get a reward or not,” Kay’s said.

Entertainers that have received cars from the president include Bebe Cool, Full Figure, Catherine Kusasira, among others.
